This was a very well written and informative article - thank you! A major concern for me stemming from this clarity about methods of transmission is the innovation that will be needed to make public transportation available again. A lack of access to reliable and safe public transportation disproportionately impacts those in specific socio-economic groups. Additionally, new travel habits developed during the pandemic may counteract some of the progress that has been made to reduce global carbon emissions. The safety and well-being of all individuals is absolutely the top priority. However, it is daunting to consider some of the less obvious/pressing implications of the pandemic.
